Stan White

Stan White, in the tradition of the Baltimore Colts and their contribution to the city that loved them, has been and continues to be a remarkable influence in the greater Baltimore community. Prior to becoming a well-known sportscaster and lawyer, White built impressive credentials as an athlete. His accomplishments include:

  • Drafted by the Baltimore Colts in 1972
  • All Big-Ten at Ohio State University
  • All-American at Ohio State University
  • Eight years as linebacker for Baltimore Colts; three seasons with Detroit Lions
  • 34 Career Interceptions
  • Eight interceptions in one season: an NFL record for linebackers in a season
  • 15 Career Fumble Recoveries
  • All-State in Three Sports in High School (Football, Basketball, Baseball)

Since leaving the playing field, White graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and has remained a fixture in the community. He is a regular contributor at WBAL radio sports, provides football color commentary and analysis for radio broadcasts during Baltimore Ravens games, and has served as a coach in various sports, including as an assistant for Gilman School varsity football.

In spite of tremendous accolades both on and off the field, Stan White counts his family as his pride and joy.
